What is Going on In and Around Springfield, Mo this Weekend?  

The weatherman says, it's going to be beautiful!    Get out and enjoy one of Car Shows, 5K's for a local charity, or head up to Mansfield and experience the history of Laura Ingalls Wilder homestead and living history demonstrations.   It's Gonna Be a Great Weekend to Make some Memories.

 

Events Happening Friday, Saturday, and or Sunday

Laura's Memories, an outdoor musical pageant, Ozark Mountain Players' Ampitheather, 500 W. Ohio Street in Mansfield.   7:30pm Friday and Saturday and 10:30am on Saturday.   Tickets: $10.   $5 for ages 5 to 10.  Free for 4 and younger.   417-924-3525.

Wilder Days Festival, Friday and Saturday, downtown Mansfield and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum.   Features living history demonstrations, crafts, costume contests, entertainment, a parade, quilt show.   FREE!     417-924-3525.

Fall Corn MazeHampton's Greenhouse, Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, 6817 Missouri 38 West in Marshfield.    Hours 6 to 9pm on Friday, 10am to 9pm Saturday, Sunday hours vary.  Admission: $7.50, $6 for ages 3 to 11, free to children 2 and under.   $6 for senior citizens.

16th Annual Cider Days, 10am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday on historical Walnut St.    Features artists, crafters, three performance stages, a children's area, food and cider.    Admission: $4.   Free to kids 10 and younger.    417-831-6200.

College of the Ozarks 5K and 10K Fun Run, 9am at Keeter Athletic Complex, C of O campus.   Proceeds raised from the event go toward purchasing a Trackchair for a disabled Missouri veteran.   Cost: $35 day of the event, or $30 online.

Dickerson Park Zoo

105.1 FM Kids Fair, 9am to 2pm, Dickerson Park Zoo, 1401 W. Norton Rd.   Meet representatives from local businesses that cater to children and families.   The zoo is open 9am to 5pm.   General admission fees apply: $9 for adults, $6 for ages 3 to 12 and ages 60 and over.   Free to ages 2 and younger.

Sunday, September 22

Revolution 3 Triathlon, downtown Branson and Table Rock Lake.   Half Rev and Olympic Tri will start at Table Rock Lake.   Competitors will then move onto a closed-road bike course.   The run course will wind competitors through historic downtown Branson.
