Cat Show in Branson, MOCat Show in Branson, 9am to 4pm, March 17 and 18, Branson/Hollister Lions Club, 1015 E. Missouri 76.   Admission is $4, free for kids 12 and under.    839-2726.

 

 

Christian County Republican Caucus, 10am, registration 8am-10am Ozark High School Auditorium at  1350 W. Bluff Drive.   Active participants must be current registered voters in Christian County.     Bring voter ID card and picture ID to expedite registration.   634-0165 or 581-7585.

 

Greater Ozarks Audubon Society Together Green Volunteer Day  9am to noon Southcreek.   Meet at the corner of S. Holland Ave. and Downing Street .  Volunteers will be cleaning a stretch of Southcreek.  Bring gloves, water, boots and a snack.   Myra Scroggs 883-4015

 

Discover Hunting Spring Turkey Hunting Clinic 8:30am to 3pm at Andy Dalton Conservation Area Bois D’Arc conservation area.  Participants will learn the basics of spring turkey hunting in Missouri.   Topics will include calling, set-up, scouting, safety, and cover identification.  Free registration required, 888-4237.

St. Patricks Day in Springfield, MoSpringfield 32nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celebration, noon, Commercial Street in Downtown Springfield.  Food booths and vendors will be open at noon and Jefferson Avenue Footbridge Commercial St. Irish pet contest begins at 12:30pm at the Footbridge.    Parade participants line up at Benton Avenue and Commercial Street where the parade will start at 2pm, traveling south on Boonville Ave. and Park Central Square and onto South Avenue to Elm Street.
