Nixa Live Band Dance,7 pm at the Nixa Senior Center, 404 S. Main Street. Cover charge of $3.00. 725-2322.
Springfield Mid-America Street Rod Nationals, Over 2,200 vehicles will be on site for the 29th Annual Mid-America Street Rod National. But that's not all! Don’t miss the Saturday Night Rock-n-Roll party, Commercial Vendors, Ladies Tea, Quilt display, free safety inspections, swap meet cars and parts, family games, women’s world arts & crafts, model car contest, live entertainment, tech seminars and much more! Spectator hours are Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 8:30 am to 2 pm. Official entry applications are available at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds administrative offices or by visiting www.nsra-usa.com. Opening day of the Nixa Aquatics Center, 401 N. Taylor Way. Open Swim hours 1 to 8pm. Monday – Friday noon to 8pm, Saturday noon to 8pm, and Sunday noon to 6pm. Splash time is 10-11:15. Admission: $4 for residence, $5 for non-residence, $2 for splash time. Free for kids under $2.
